Natural Resources Steering Panel Selected

Natural Resources Minister Carolyn Bolivar-Getson has appointed two prominent Nova Scotians to a panel that will lead the development of a new strategy governing the province’s natural resources.

Joe Marshall is the executive director of the Union of Nova Scotia Indians and the Mi’kmaq Rights Initiative, and an associate professor at Cape Breton University. He is also a teacher at the Eskasoni Training and Education Centre.

Allan Shaw, is non-executive chairman of the Shaw Group, a director with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Public Affairs, and a past chair of Atlantic Provinces Economic Council. He is a Member of the Order of Canada.
